Summary: Sunchase American is looking for an experienced Leasing Professional to join our team! We are a conventional luxury community consisting of 145 brand new apartments currently in the final phase of construction, that will be in addition to our 45 existing units. The perfect candidate for this role will be friendly, energetic,outgoing, and driven! You will need to be organized with excellent communication and problem solving skills. This position requires a strong background in apartment leasing. Experience with lease up is preferred!
What you will do in this role:
- Meet with prospective renters and take them on tours of available units and the community.
- Prepare and execute leases in accordance with our property standards and regulations.
- Conduct credit checks and other background tasks to qualify potential renters.
- Collect application fees, security depots and rent payments.
- Coordinate property maintenance.
- Inform residents of any changes to the rental agreement or upcoming problems with the property.
- Follow up with prospective renters.
- Establish rapport with tenants and provide personalized service.
- Monitor use of community facilities, including swimming pool, fitness center and clubhouse.
- Assist with marketing strategies pertaining to the community
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- 3+ years of experience in leasing, preferably with lease up experience
- Experience working at conventional communities
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to multitask during busy periods
- Strong knowledge of the apartment industry& Fair Housing laws.
- Must be willing to work weekends
- Onesite and Real Page product knowledge is a plus!
