Commercial real estate company in Tampa has a multi-family assignment that needs an apartment leasing specialist for a high-end community in the Hidden River area. The ideal candidate is a “go-getter” who would like to learn the commercial real estate side as well, so that he/she could become part of the core team and possibly work on other properties (mostly office, retail or multi-family) in the future.
All candidates must have a proven track record in apartment leasing.
Job Description:
The principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead marketing efforts to increase occupancy
- Show and lease apartments
- Negotiate and close leases
- Process resident applications and lease paperwork
- Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs
- Prepare vacancies for showing
- Prospect for new tenants
- Handle telephone calls and walk-ins
- Develop and maintain knowledge of property and competitors
- Maintain tenant files
- Prepare leasing reports
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an apartment community leasing agent
- Strong knowledge of market and leasing process
- Weekend availability for showings is a must

- Base salary
