Ogden & Sullivan P.A., an AV rated Tampa civil trial firm is seeking an experienced legal assistant with a minimum office (3) years of strong litigation experience, preferably insurance defense, to work for two partners. Ability to prioritize assignments and multi-task, exercise good judgment, record and monitor deadlines, be committed to following up on delegated assignments, work as a team player, and coordinate conferences, mediations, depositions, etc. Candidate should be tech-savvy, dependable and looking for a long term career. Temporary work from home rotation (after training) is available. - Minimum of 3 years of strong litigation experience
- Knowledge of Florida and federal court rules and procedures
- Experience with e-filing in both state and federal courts
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and highly organized
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Adobe Acrobat
- Comfortable in a high volume and fast paced environment
- Manage attorney calendaring and task deadlines
- Experience with Aderant Total Office f/k/a Client Profiles practice management system a plus
