Small law firm seeks a full time experienced, bi-lingual paralegal / legal assistant to handle civil litigation, personal injury, criminal defense and family cases, who is highly motivated with a minimum of 4 years of experience. Salary is commensurate with experience. Qualified candidates should possess a working knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedures and Family Law Rules. Prior experience with JAWS and Florida e-portal is required. Daily job duties include but not limited to document preparation, drafting motions and pleadings, file management, scheduling hearings, and answering phone calls. The ability to develop rapport with clients, maintain strong working relationships, exhibit attention to detail, and produce an accurate and high-quality work product are essential requirements for this position. Strong organizational and communication skills, a working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word and Outlook and My Case is preferred.
