Job duties include: -Answering telephones and checking voicemail system; -Checking emails and responding to emails; -Scheduling and coordinating meetings with clients, mediation, court hearings, depositions (including coordination with process servers and court reporters), etc.; -Drafting of dictated letters and pleadings (using Microsoft Word); -Generation of standard pleadings; -Scanning, printing and copying documents; -Mail/Fed-Ex documents; -Requesting records (from clients, insurance companies, medical offices, opposing counsel, clerk’s office, etc.); -E-filing pleadings with the Courts; -Creating, updating, organizing and otherwise maintaining individual client files; -Categorizing/organizing discovery documents; -Creating trial notebooks; -Interacting with clients; -Assistance in creating time-slips to be used for billing clients; -Generating billing statements to be sent to clients; and -Accepting and processing payments made by clients.
