The Tampa Office of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP, a national law firm, is currently seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant/Secretary to support 3 Attorneys. Ideal candidate will have 5 – 10 years experience in a legal environment and experience handling busy litigation desk for 2-3 attorneys.
Job duties include, but are not limited to, answering phones, scheduling, preparing and proofreading documents (correspondence, court filings and etc.), processing incoming/outgoing mail; copying, scanning and organizing documents; filing in state and federal court, maintaining attorneys’ calendar; arrange for travel, confirming appointments, and other support/administrative tasks our attorneys may need.
We are looking for candidate with excellent written and oral communication skills, solid organizational skills, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including having the ability to prioritize incoming/outgoing tasks and work effectively within a team environment. We are looking for a candidate with good experience in the Microsoft Office environment; knowledgeable of local, state, and federal rules and electronic filing procedures is required.
