We are seeking a highly driven and motivated Legal Assistant to become a part of our firm! The candidate will provide overall support to attorneys’ day to day needs and manage client matters accordingly.
Our law firm is rapidly growing and strives to provide top-notch legal services experience to our clients. A perfect candidate is someone who can work well under pressure and thrives during challenges. Because our law firm is always looking for ways of being more efficient, the candidate must be able to learn new software and tasks quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Record and store client information
- Manage client files and provide status updates regularly
- Manage deadlines
- Manage attorney calendar
- Any additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a legal assistant or administrative assistant
- Familiarity with legal research
- Familiarity with the e-court filing systems and JAWS
- Ability to prioritize and multitask well
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Must have extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Adobe
