Legal Assistant 221 Needed for Growing East Tampa Law Firm. Experience is needed in medical malpractice and/or nursing home litigation defense.
Duties:
Must be able to handle a busy workload in a fast-paced environment.
Prepare, edit and finalize pleadings, notices, memorandums and
correspondence.
Scheduling hearings, depositions, trials and managing calendar for deadlines.
Communicating with adjustors, opposing counsel, witnesses and experts.
Managing case file electronically.
Prepare attorney for hearings, depositions and trials.
Other legal administrative tasks
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of Medical Malpractice and/ or Nursing home Litigation defense experience.
Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills.
Must a self-starter and work well in a team environment.
Detail Oriented.
Salary:
$55-$60K plus excellent benefit package
