Florida law firm with 14 offices has an immediate opening in our Tampa office for a Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant with extensive experience in complex commercial real estate transactions for one very busy Shareholder in our Real Estate Department. The ideal candidate must have attention to detail, strong computer skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

Some of the attributes that we are looking for are the following:

  • Ability to understand, edit and proof various documents related to conveyances, acquisitions, leases and financing;
  • Assist with the closing process including organizing final closing documents, reviewing final closing documents for proper execution, accuracy and completeness, recording documents, drafting correspondence and organizing and preparing closing binders;
  • Basic understanding of title insurance and survey;
  • Calendaring critical dates and reminders;
  • Organization and maintenance of both electronic and physical client files;
  • Ability to interface with clients and other members of the Real Estate Team.
