Oversee a growing portfolio of HOA/ and Condominium Association Accounts by responding to board member and homeowner inquiries; obtain and review vendor proposals and contracts; oversee vendor and maintenance of common areas, some attendance required at evening board meetings and occasional weekend events. Be able to make independent judgment and discretion when advising board members and vendors. You are responsible for Customer Satisfaction and promoting community harmony, enforcing violations, and increasing the value of the communities.
Position Requirements
- Currently a Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM) by the State of Florida
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent customer service, communication, computer, organizational and time management skills
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and think and work independently
- Have a working understanding of Developer-controlled and Resident-controlled HOA boards
- Be computer savvy and understand basic computer programs
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and insurance
Position Responsibilities
- Manage all operations for a portfolio of community associations
- Provides administrative, operational and managerial advice to Board of Directors
- Direct the enforcement of community rules and restrictions
- Promote community harmony
- Assist the board with hiring contractors and insurance carriers to maintain and protect the community
- Oversee and approve payment of vendors providing service to community association
- Develop community association budget and provide delivery/presentation of financial reports
- Customer service focused; CAMs service clients on a daily basis
- Listening skills: CAMs need to listen to the problems of a client and provide a solution to meet the requests of the client
- Proactive: CAMs must proactively communicate with their clients, team members, and superiors
- Management: CAMs must manage the budget, operations, schedules of a community association
