Job Details
We’re looking for a Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of insurance defense experience to join our busy practice!
Qualifications:
Defending insured first party and assignment of benefits claims against Homeowner property insurance only
Needs strong litigation drafting skills and attention to detail, including knowledge of Fla. R. Civ. P. and Fla. Evidence Code
Self-starter, able to work promptly and accurately to carry out case plan, with limited direction from supervisor
Understanding of claims process, ability to review and understand claims file and insurance company documents, and prepare discovery responses
Experience working with engineers and other professional expert witnesses
Needs strong client contact skills
Able to detail bill in compliance with carrier guidelines
Some motion hearing experience preferred
