Responsibilities
- New client intake
- Drafting and preparing summons
- Draft and file legal documents and pleadings in State and Federal Courts
- Draft, file, and serve discovery
- Organize and manage Attorney(s) calendar
- Schedule depositions/hearings/mediations/arbitrations
- Clear and effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, judicial employees, and team members
- Use of and date entry into firm’s case management software
- Assists with the settlement process
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of Florida paralegal experience preferred
- Knowledge of State Court rules and procedures
- Familiarity with State and Federal Court filing systems
- Familiarity with legal terminology, drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal documents
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required

Pay: $40,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
