LITIGATION PARALEGAL
Job Summary:
The Litigation Paralegal will work with our attorneys by providing clerical and research support to the cases they are handling to include document preparation, coordination, and review, trial preparation assistance, and other duties, as assigned. This role has moderate supervision as it relates to daily activities and work product production and prioritization.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Meet with attorneys, clients, staff, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects
- Draft legal documents such as motions, notices, briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, etc.
- Research and analyze statutes, regulations, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, legal codes, and other legal sources
- Work on tasks of varying complexity within the scope of the Paralegal role while continuing to grow in this area and begin to take on more complex assignments/projects as time goes on
- Document and exhibit review and preparation
- Ability to discern important details in client and opposing party documents
- Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items
- Maintain a good working relationship with attorneys, other paralegals, staff, and management
- E-filing documents within the e-filing portals of the local, state, and federal courts
- Schedule meetings and hearings
- Maintains records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases
- Heavy calendering
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required; Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
- Florida Paralegal Certification
- Experience with Action Step software preferred, but not required.
- 3 to 7 years’ experience as a paralegal in a litigation environment
