We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys’ business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents and pleadings
- Personal Injury Settlement Demand reviews and preparation
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Monitor and ensure compliance with court rule and procedures
- Record and store client information
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field preferred. Certificate or degree not required.
- Familiarity JAWS and E-Filing in state court and PACER in Federal.
- Familiarity with Microsoft WORD and OUTLOOK, and TIME MATTER calendaring system.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
