We are partnering with a professional Law Firm in the Tampa area who is looking to add an experienced Paralegal to their team! Experience with Product Liability Defense experience highly preferred!
Job Description:
- Drafting and proofreading pleadings, filings and discovery
- Supporting cases in and through trial
- Document management and collection
- Directly assist attorneys with all phases of litigation
- Prepare accurate timelines for trial preparation
- Enter billing data into database
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Litigation
- 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal
- 3+ years of experience in Insurance Defense
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies (from an ABA Accredited school)
- Product Liability Defense experience preferred
- Medical Chronology experience preferred
- Construction or Real Estate Law experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and high attention to detail
- Must be proficient in all MS Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
This is a full-time temp to hire opportunity working M-F (8-5). $40,000 – $55,000/year depending on experience.
