Global is looking for a Day-Time Porter or Grounds Keeper that will be tending to the outside maintenance and cleanliness of Hillsborough County roadways. Porters will be assigned a route containing multiple properties in which they will drive a company vehicle with partner to and from different job sites. They will be assigned specific job duties in order to ensure that the outside perimeter of these properties is exceptionally maintained.
Work schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Must be available for emergency calls after hours on occasion.
Some of these job duties include:
We are maintaining the right-of-way within areas of Hillsborough County and other county-owned properties keeping the properties free of litter and solid waste. The porter shall be responsible for collecting and transporting litter and solid from county right-of-way, and other property.
- Hand litter pick the entire property- including roadway side, sidewalk areas, and landscape areas along the roadway
- Report any bulk build up of solid waste, dead animals or illegal dumping along roadways
- Separate and dispose of collected litter and solid waste at the dump.
Other Required Skills:
- Individual must have 1 year of previous experience
- Individual must be hardworking and have an eye for detail
- Individual must be able and willing to work independently and with other team members, supervisors, clients, and the clients’ customers
- Individual must be able to work outside in high degree temperatures, performing labor demanding tasks
- Individual must have a valid Florida State Driver’s License with a good past/present driving history
- Individual must be reliable and able to work weekends and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
