JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the Live Events Manager, the Live Events Assistant will be responsible for assisting with all community involvement from a live events and grassroots standpoint. This entails aiding in the set-up of all live event efforts such as Fan Fest, Watch Parties, Season Kick-Off Events and Playoff events. In addition, the Live Events Assistant will oversee the Lightning Girls social accounts, as well as track uniforms, appearances, impressions, and revenue. Assistant will also aid with various office duties for the Marketing department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Schedule corporate and community appearances for Lightning Girls and maintain calendar
· Assist in organization of Lightning Girls Summer Camp, Auditions and Prep Class
· Oversee the Tampa Bay Lightning Girls social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook)
· Manage uniform inventory for the Tampa Bay Lightning Girls
· Assist in planning Live Events, such as Fan Fest, Brewfest and watch parties throughout the year
· Track Lightning Girl appearances, impressions, & revenue generated within the community
· Assist Live Events Coordinator with Rolling Thunder and grassroots marketing appearances
· Other Duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Must be a high-energy, detail-oriented team player
· Familiarity with the different facets of Sports Marketing
· Knowledge and understanding of grassroots marketing efforts
· Excellent time-management and interpersonal communication skills
· Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, dependability, initiative, organization, and prioritization
· Must be able to work in a part-time capacity, for 25-30 hours per week
· Must have flexible schedule and be able and willing to work all grassroots events, Fan Fest, Watch Parties, some Lightning home games, and some onsite office hours
· Must be willing to work weekends and nights as most grassroots events take place on weekends and nights
· Ability to lift a maximum of 34.5 pounds, with or without accommodation/
