Department Summary:
The Corporate Sales department handles all functions relating to offering lending solutions to the public. The Sales team handles customer requests for mortgages, and communicates offers for financing residential mortgages to the consumer along with pre-qualification letters. This department is the liaison between the consumer and the mortgage operational departments and handles most of the communication up to the funding of the loan including gathering all necessary documentation from the customer and preparing a loan package for an underwriter. The Corporate Sales department also handles all preliminary duties, including but not limited to, ordering appraisals through an AMC, gathering all initial loan documentation, sending out and receiving back all initial loan disclosures and communicating with the consumer throughout the loan process.
Position Summary:
Our Loan Partners are responsible for providing administrative support to the sales department and performing various loan servicing tasks as assigned. The Loan Partners assist in gathering and verifying accuracy of documents received, assists in clearing underwriting stips, and other documentation to prepare loan files. This position needs to possess strong communication and computer skills and a willingness to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, team environment.

Essential Job Functions:
Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Verify and examine information and accuracy of loan application and closing documents.
• Prepare and type loan applications, closing documents, legal documents, letters, forms, government notices, and checks, using computers.
• Assemble and compile documents for loan closings, such as title abstracts, insurance forms, loan forms, and tax receipts.
• Record applications for loan and credit, loan information, and disbursements of funds, using computers.
• Submit loan applications with recommendation for underwriting approval.
• Contact borrower and other sources in order to check obtain items for borrower’s file.
• Check value of customer collateral to be held as loan security.
• Calculate, review, and correct errors on interest, principal, payment, and closing costs, using computers or calculators.
• Additional tasks as assigned.

Education:
High School Diploma plus two years of office experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience are required.
Experience:
The ideal candidate must have the following:
• Minimum of one year of mortgage experience.
• Mortgage processing experience a plus.
Specific Knowledge Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have the following:
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of financial information and disclosures is required.
• Knowledge of conventional and government mortgage processing.
• Knowledge of DU/LP.
• Knowledge of Encompass is a plus.
Special Requirements:
This job will require a criminal background check.

• This position may require occasional overtime and travel.
