Temporary Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Loan Processor for a company based in Tampa, FL.
In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as assessing the credit standing of applicants through background research, and any other related duties.
Pay Rate:
$31, 200 – $38, 000, depending on experience.
Schedule and Hours:
8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and one night per month to conduct program orientations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Interview applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan or mortgage.
Help develop and update loan policies, underwriting criteria, and best practices for SHI s main product lines.
Assist the Loan Administration team with loan closing and ongoing monitoring activities.
Establish, maintain and updates files, databases, records and/or other documents for reports.
Ability and desire to work on behalf of multi-cultural individuals of low-to-moderate income levels in a multi-cultural, community-based, non-profit organizational setting.
Knowledge of local and national down payment assistance programs to determine eligibility for financial assistance.
Knowledge of homebuyer education programs, credit counseling and case management and HUD housing rules and regulations, City of Tampa Down payment assistance program, City of Tampa Owner Occupancy Rehabilitation program, Urban 360 by Domain Homes, Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay down payment assistance program, East Tampa CRA dpa, and any other assistance programs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
One year loan processing and/or lending experience required
Experience in any of the following areas is preferred; Pre-Purchase Process, Budgeting and Financial Planning, Mortgage Financing, Residential Real Estate Sales, Title Transfer / Closing Process, and/or Foreclosure Prevention, and Administration.
Two years of college-level study in Business, Social Welfare, Real Estate, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
Bilingual in Spanish (read, speak, and write) preferred.
Background check and Drug Screen required.
Flexible work schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
