SARASOTA COUNTY OFFICE OF THE COUNTY ATTORNEY has immediate need for two litigation attorneys to join our high functioning team. The first position seeks a trial attorney with 5 or more years of civil litigation experience including recent first chair trial experience to handle the defense and prosecution of claims on behalf of the County in the areas of torts, construction, and commercial disputes. The second position seeks an attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience to handle a variety of matters for the County including litigation and transactional matters. Recent government experience preferred but not required. Membership in The Florida Bar is required. By County policy only nonsmokers are eligible for hire.
