M&A ConsultantRemote + Travel (candidate can work from anywhere in US with occasional travel to client site on client paid expenses after COVID-19 pandemic)

FulltimeTelephonic/ Video Interview End to End M&A Advisory and consulting role (covering mergers, divestitures, carve-out, spin-off) focusing on Enterprise business applications/ERP covering – pre-transaction due diligence, post-merger Integration.    

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead pre-acquisition IT diligence assignments focused on the Enterprise Applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HCM) and evaluate the key drivers of M&A transaction success, assess risk from Enterprise Application merger perspective and present alternatives
  • Contribute and drive the Day-1 and Post Day-1 integration planning and execution
  • Drive business system integration, data migration and conversions
  • Help setup a repeatable process and M&A playbook to help with ERP integration for M&A and carve-outs(factory model)
  • Define the approach and execute the ERP carve-out
  • Work with various stakeholders involved in M&A and represent the IT team
  • Identify opportunities for application rationalization, improve efficiency and transform the business process as part of M&A integration or carve-out
  • Help define the optimal future ERP strategy and roadmap for Carve-outs.

Qualifications:

  • Min 15 years of overall experience in ERP Consulting and Business Transformation programs
  • Min 5 years of experience in M&A due-diligence, IT integration activities.  
  • Highly result-oriented leader with Consultative skills, demonstrating highly Collaborative in a global, multi-disciplinary org.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand deal strategy and drivers, translate business needs into requirements, develop proposed solutions, and deliver high impact change initiatives
  • Thorough understanding and experience across multiple business functions like Finance, EPM, Supply Chain, CRM/CX areas  
  • Experience in Defining ERP Vision, Strategy, Roadmap on modern Cloud ERPs for enterprise Customers
  • Partnering with clients in Identifying Opportunities for enterprise Transformation and help build Business case
  • Developing and enriching ‘C’ level Client Relationship
  • Ability to provide point of views and leading ERP product selection exercises / assessments / discovery to recommend suitable cloud ERP Solution, Strategy and roadmap as part of Spin-offs, Carve-Outs.    

Additional Good to Have :

  • Experience in working on/implementing one or more ERP Products (Oracle, SAP, Workday, Infor).
  • Experience and good understanding across multiple ERP functional domains (Finance, supply chain, Customer Experience), Experience of migrating on-premises applications to Cloud.
