Maintenance Supervisor for 142-unit garden-style apartment community (1BR, 2BR, 3BR) in St. Petersburg, Florida. Property was fully renovated in 2015. Position is full-time (Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM). Offering $18-20/hr plus benefits – medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) with employer match.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform all maintenance operations at the site including the completion of work orders.
- Direct the day-to-day administrative operations of the maintenance functions, including the scheduling of work, submission of reports, paperwork and record keeping.
- Keep accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, completion of work orders, apartment refurbishing, annual inspections, inventories of tools, parts, equipment, etc.
- Participate in a standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend and holiday coverage.
- Inspect all units, buildings and common areas, performing repairs and janitorial assistance.
Job Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 year prior maintenance experience.
- Must have EPA certification; experience working with split-system HVAC units.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC.
- Ability to perform general janitorial duties.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers and saws.
- Ability to safely use various power tools such as hand held drills and circular saws.
- Strong customer service skills.
