Community Service Foundation is a non-profit that has been in the Clearwater Area for over 60 years. Our mission is to provide affordable housing, educational training in homeownership and household budgeting, Fair Housing counseling, and other related housing services to Pinellas County residents. Full-time Maintenance Supervisor wanted for 120+ Rental Units throughout Clearwater, Seminole & Largo area. Ideal candidate will have a background in Electrical, plumbing or HVAC and a minimum of two years’ experience in an apartment maintenance role. Must have plumbing, electrical and basic A/C knowledge. Successful candidate must be able to pass a background check prior to hire.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee maintenance and repair of interior, exterior, and common grounds of each complex. Perform Maintenance on basic plumbing, A/C and heating, electrical, basic appliance repairs.
  • Ensure all maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely, cost effective manner and according to specifications.
  • Purchase necessary supplies, tools and equipment within the budgetary guidelines.
  • Monitor outside contractors to ensure complete and acceptable service is provided. Evaluate and recommend service contractors.
  • Deal with residents in a professional manner with patience, tact and diplomacy.
  • HVAC, plumbing and electrical experience or technical training preferred.
  • EPA, CPO and HVAC certifications are a plus.
  • Inspect properties weekly to ensure buildings meet company standards for operating order and appearance.
  • Conduct ongoing preventative maintenance, energy, and project management programs.
  • Conduct regular safety, security, departmental procedures, and service guidelines training programs.
  • Provide leadership and empowerment to improve departmental performance and enhance resident relations.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with resident and staff members.
  • Comply with all standards, and regulations, to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Purchase supply orders and monitor inventory of parts and supplies. Maintain vehicle, appliance, equipment warranty and records.
  • Act as a first responder during emergency situations and natural disasters.
  • Responsible for After-hours emergency calls and scheduling.
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
