The club features an 18-hole championship golf course, tennis courts, swimming, a fitness center, and clubhouse for member entertaining, dining and banquets. Job Summary
Under the direction of the Maintenance Director, maintenance technicians are responsible for maintaining the overall integrity of the physical assets of the property and ensuring an excellent state and safe environment by diagnosing and performing a variety of routine repairs, monitoring equipment and tools in a timely and efficient manner. Maintenance technicians will have completed some training, experience, and/or certification in one or more of the following areas: mechanical equipment operation, basic plumbing, groundskeeping, general carpentry, painting, janitorial, or basic electrical skills. In order to be successful incumbents must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision; must be able to tolerate a significant amount of heavy lifting and moving; and must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and special events.
Essential Duties
- Performs opening duties and closing duties and start and end of shift; unlocks and lock building entrances and exits,
- Sets up and tears down furniture, chairs, tables, restaurant equipment, kitchens equipment, meeting and function rooms.
- Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities as required by club policies/procedures.
- Performs routine inspections of facilities and equipment for problems and reports findings.
- Maintains and makes general repairs to the air conditioning, plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, small motors, fitness equipment, electronics, elevators, ventilation systems and building structures of the club.
- Conducts general plumbing repairs such as leaking pipes and faucets, and clogged drains.
- Performs various duties involving painting, pressure washing, trash removal, recycling, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
- Assists in the installation of maintenance equipment, electronics, fitness equipment, kitchen and restaurant equipment.
- Maintains and makes general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, elevators, ventilation systems and building structures of the club.
- Installs tile and drywall; makes grout repairs, patches walls and paves brick.
- Follows OSHA guidelines and applicable safety rules and procedures in carrying out responsibilities.
- Maintains a professional appearance and complies with uniform and dress codes.
Requirements
Physical Demands
- Frequent exposure to dust, fumes, odors, and cleaning chemicals. Infrequent exposure to bio-hazards. Must be able to read and follow directions and proper procedures for handling hazardous chemicals and materials in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Must be able to reach, push, pull, bend, and stoop; must be able to perform repetitive motion activities (reaching, climbing stairs, walking, standing, kneeling, bending, crouching); excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to comfortably lift, carry, move, push and pull up to 75 pounds, and stand on your feet for extended periods.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, and one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency and three to five years of experience in: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or building maintenance.
