Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, upkeep and inspections of Apartment Complex
- Maintain the safety and overall appearance and cleanliness of the property.
- Maintain refrigerant log for A/C service and keep available for inspections.
- Perform installation, repairs and replacement of components of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Conduct routine building inspections.
- Ensure vacant apartments are inspected for condition, scheduled for turnover, schedule final inspection.
- Prepare supply list needed for repairs and turns
- Complete work orders and log completion in a timely matter
- Drywall repair and touch up painting
- Identify and report problems and deficiencies to Property Manager.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications/Experience
3 years of experience at an apartment complex.
Background in carpentry, plumbing and electrical preferred, experience a plus.
HVAC Certification Required
Experience as a handyman or with maintenance and repair.
Experience in the proper care and use of small hand tools and mechanical equipment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
