Description: Seeking an EXCEPTIONAL Maintenance Technician for our Association Altis Wiregrass, located in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Join our team and build a career with one of the nation’s leading multi-family developers, constructors, and managers of luxury apartment homes.
The Maintenance Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Assist Maintenance Manager with maintaining the physical assets of the property in a neat, clean condition and in excellent state of repair in accordance with company operating standards and ensuring that service requests and repairs are performed correctly and in a timely manner.
Assist the Maintenance Manager with organizing and prioritizing service requests and general maintenance tasks. • Work with Maintenance Manager to ensure that vacant units are made rent-ready in a timely manner. Turns should be completed within three days unless there is an unforeseen complexity to the turn.
In absence of Manager, oversee turn-key work of outside contractors. • Perform preventive maintenance required for each piece of equipment in accordance with all provided Schedule(s) of Maintenance.
Know and adhere to the company’s safety program, policies and procedures. Assist Maintenance Manager with maintaining the hazard communications program. Promote and perform safe work practices. • Read and write maintenance tickets as required. Read, comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions and instructions on how to use supplies. • Clearly communicate with residents and maintain customer service standards. • On call 50% of the time on a rotating schedule is required.
Must have the ability to work weekends. Education • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. For safety, productivity and service reasons the position requires the ability to speak, read and write English. In addition, the position requires the ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.
Experience Preferred experience working on luxury apartment rentals.
