Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for ensuring the cost effective, environmentally sound, and sustainable design and maintenance of engineering services in the building
- Maintain and have excellent understanding of all equipment including HVAC, lighting, electrical distribution, water supply, sanitation, fire protection, safety systems, and building structures
- Keep work areas and maintenance shop clean and accident free
- Adhere to and enforce all safety regulations
- Conduct regular inspections, report findings, and make recommendations
- Operate electrical and mechanical equipment
- Respond to tenants’ needs as quickly as possible
- Interact with vendors
- Perform minor maintenance such as painting, carpentry, and plumbing
- Be available for “On Call” scheduling, and afterhours emergencies
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Work Truck or Van – willing to travel
- Own your own tools
- HVAC certification
- Superior level of customer service
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Shopping Center and commercial experience
