Maintenance Technician
Buckhorn Creek HOA in Brandon Florida has an open position for a Maintenance Technician to join our team and maintain 124 privately owned townhomes.
This is a full-time position with working hours from 7:30am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday
Job Description:
Maintain entire neighborhood and individual townhomes as needed. This will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Pick up garbage and debris from property
- Repair / replace / maintain sprinklers
- Repair / replace fencing, fascia, carports, blacktop, etc
- Maintain community pool area, tables, grills, pumps, dog stations
- Maintain all lighting and plumbing, as needed
- Blow and remove debris from roofs monthly
- Provide daily updates to Maintenance Director
- Other responsibilities include:
- Support and maintain all aspects of neighborhood including assisting with security, special projects, assisting in managing all vendors such as landscapers, tree trimmers, roofers, pest control, pool maintenance, etc.
Required
5+ Years Maintenance / Construction Experience
3+ Years Plumbing (Sprinklers)
3+ Years Carpentry (Fascia, Fencing, Exterior Trim)
3+ Years Electrical (Lighting, Sprinklers, Security Systems)
Must be licensed and insured within first month of service (during training period)
Must have clean background and license / Criminal background check required
Must have dependable transportation to pick up supplies (preferably truck)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 to $18.50 /hour
Experience:
- Plumbing: 3 years (Preferred)
- Fencing / Fascia: 3 years (Preferred)
- Electrical: 3 years (Preferred)
- Maintenance: 5 years (Required)
