Job Description. We are hiring a maintenance technician to join our fast-growing team. You will be required to perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when necessary. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools (MUST have your own), and be extremely flexible with your schedule. In addition, you will be floating between rented properties, new construction, and other duties instructed by Owner Management. Compensation based on experience. Lastly, this position includes HEAVY AMOUNTS OF DRIVING.
Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Working with Property Manager and Owner
- Performing preventative maintenance at several different properties.
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
- Performing Move In/Move Out Inspections
- Efficiently and Correctly completing Punch Lists
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
- Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
- Capable of flexibility between Property Management AND Construction
Maintenance Worker Requirements:
- MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION (Truck or Van REQUIRED)
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. MUST HAVE YOUR OWN
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Experience with painting and trim.
- Experience performing routine maintenance.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills.
- Eye for detail.
- Professional presentation and attitude.
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
- Strong time management skills.
