Maintenance Technician – FL State Fairgrounds (Tampa)

Maintenance Technician – Discover the fun by working at the fairgrounds. A little knowledge in all the trades goes a long way. This position supports the daily maintenance and operational tasks throughout the fairgrounds and facilities by ensuring the highest standards are met. Pay range is $11 – 17/hr. Experience and Skills. Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years general and facilities maintenance. HVAC Certification, Plumbing and Electrician Licenses a plus. Skills: Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Understand and follow oral and written directions. Identify problems and implement solutions. Work independently in the absence of supervision. Regularly required to stand; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Frequently is required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
