Job Description Tampa area Property Management company seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry, construction, and/or general handyman. Looking to cover Pinellas County, Pasco and Tampa area.
We are looking for a hard-working, energetic person who takes personal pride in his work and can work independently. Must have high honesty and integrity. Must be able to deal tactfully with other personnel, residents & their families, visitors, and vendors.
This position is part of full-time Monday-Friday, with the possibility of occasional weekend on-call availability. Must be able to perform quality repairs within the time frame allotted while maintaining a positive, professional attitude. Strong attention to detail is required.
Pay rate: $17 – $20 per hour, based on experience.

In order to be considered for this position, you MUST
- Have a reliable pickup truck or utility van that you are willing to use for business to drive from job site to job site
- Own a basic set of hand tools
- Have exceptional carpentry and drywall finishing skills
- Have excellent general handyman skills: painting, siding, electrical, plumbing, etc.
- Be responsible and properly maintain and organize tools, supplies, and other company property
- Be able to use a tablet and computer to keep up with paperwork, email, and work orders
- Have good customer service skills, ability to take direction and work well with others
- Have a CLEAN BACKGROUND and ability to pass a drug test
Our service area extends from Pasco to Manatee County. Mileage is reimbursed at $0.545 per mile.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Must be able to work in attics and other enclosed spaces.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 8 continuous hours in exposed weather conditions.
