JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for repair and maintenance of the property to ensure a safe and attractive living environment for residents.
Reporting Relationships:
This position reports directly to the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor and works collaboratively with many constituents across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Respond to service requests in a professional and timely manner
- Communicate clearly, compassionately, and with empathy when speaking with internal team members, vendors and residents
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with residents and vendors
- Courteous and prompt communication with team members and management
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system
- Replace circuit breakers
- Consistently maintains a clean work environment
- Captures timesheets and work orders correctly
- Accurately utilize technology to drive productivity and continuous improvement for maintenance service delivery
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Skilled in repair and maintenance of HVAC systems
· Experience with replacing circuit breakers
- Ability to work on-call and overtime hours as needed
- Ability to correspond (in writing and verbally) effectively with residents, management, team members, and vendors
REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or GED
· Commitment to serving residents in accordance to our Standards of Service
· Must be able to work in environmentally and physically challenging working conditions
· Must be able to lift objects weighing 50lbs or more regularly
