Full Job Description
Attention maintenance professionals! We want you to join “the company that keeps good company!” We are offering an amazing full-time opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to join the team at Villas at Flagler Pointe Apartments in St. Petersburg, Florida as a Maintenance Technician I. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, including evenings and weekends/on-call as scheduled.
Minimum qualifications: a high school diploma or GED and at least two (2) years of progressive maintenance experience in the multifamily or commercial real estate industry.
As Maintenance Technician, you will service and perform repairs at the community. You will perform your work as directed by the Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor, and assist the overall team effort to deliver an exceptional living experience to our residents.
The Maintenance Technician will assist with grounds-keeping; scheduling and performing preventative maintenance; maintaining tools and equipment to ensure that it is operational; and managing inventory/supply levels to avoid shortages. Other duties will include maintaining a safe work area while diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance/repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, water irrigation, stairs, gates, railings, patios, flooring (all types), general roofing, lighting, fireplaces, ceiling fans, windows and related hardware, locks, security systems, leaks, and basic carpentry, painting and masonry. The Maintenance Technician will also inspect all make-ready repairs and services. Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds.
A high school diploma or GED, and at least two (2) years of progressive maintenance experience in the hospitality or multi-family industry is required. EPA, CFC or CPO certification is preferred. We offer a competitive salary plus a commission incentive plan.
