NM Residential, a property management company with commercial and multi-family properties throughout Michigan, Ohio, and Florida is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Clearwater, Florida property.
Qualified individuals will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience working in Maintenance for the apartment or hospitality industry. This individual may be asked to assist as needed at other properties and be available for emergency calls.
Job duties include:
- Troubleshooting and prioritizing maintenance work orders submitted by residents for issues in the areas of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating, and cooling, etc.
- Preparing vacant units for new residents
- Troubleshooting and repairing all aspects of the property and its units
- General appearance and maintenance of the property
- Appliance Repair
- Troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing heating/cooling systems and hot boilers
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge and maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall repair.
- HVAC Certification and experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing Johnson units a plus. Experience with troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing hot boilers a plus. Sewer experience a plus.
- Must provide own tools.
- Ability to work on-call, and evenings and weekends is a must.
This is a full-time position.
Pay rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
