Full Job Description
YES Management Services LLC is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a 352-unit residential property in the Temple Terrace, FL area. This position is full time. You must have basic hand tools and a valid Driver’s License with dependable transportation. You must also be EPA certified.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner
- Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks throughout the day
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors
- Identify any issues regarding safety, hazardous conditions or maintenance needs in the community and correct them or report them to the maintenance supervisor
- Perform preventative maintenance within the community
- Prepare vacant apartments for move-in, including completing any necessary repairs or replacements
- Complete apartment upgrades in renovation units.
- Ensure upkeep of community appearance by replacing light bulbs, removing trash and litter, painting and performing repairs
- Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, distribution of notices, apartment inspections, and other tasks as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and all other systems at the community
Qualifications
- Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Drywall: 1 year (Preferred)
- Apartment Maintenance: 2 years (Required)
- Electrical : 1 year (Preferred)
- HVAC: 1-2 years (required)
- EPA Certification (Required)
- Valid Drivers License (Required)
