Local Tampa Bay real estate company seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians. We are a growing company and are in need of hard-working individuals to join our team. This position is full time, Monday-Friday, with the possibility of occasional weekend call-ins. Applicants must be able to perform quality repairs within the time frame allotted while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
Skills:
- EXCEPTIONAL carpentry skills a MUST.
- HVAC knowledge/certification is MANDATORY.
- Changing lights, replacing outlets and switches.
- Plumbing, clearing sewer lines, changing toilets & fixtures; replacing pipes.
- Electrical skills; changing breakers; replacing GFI, switches; light fixtures.
- Properly maintain and organize tools, supplies, and other company property.
- Good customer service skills, ability to take direction and work well with others, and strong attention to detail is required.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Follow office policies & procedures; work closely with property manager regarding work orders and scheduling.
- Inspect and prepare residential homes and apartments for occupancy and sale.
- Perform final a walk through on homes to verify outstanding issues have been completed before sale and move in.
- Report and communicate deficiencies to Property Manager and follow up on item completion
- Perform touch up painting and minor repairs on rental units and sale homes
- Complete punch out items as directed.
***MUST ALSO HAVE CLEAN BACKGROUND AND DRIVING RECORD and be able to pass a drug test.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50lb.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs repeatedly through out the work day
- Must be able to work a minimum of 8 continuous hours in exposed weather conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $23.00 to $25.00 /hour
