Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Manager, Acquisitions & Divestitures (A&D) – Americas, Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) to be located in New Brunswick, NJ, or remote work in North America or LATAM.

Summary

The Manager, E&PS A&D – Americas is responsible for delivering standardized and consistent E&PS A&D project management within the region. This includes leading the end-to-end E&PS A&D project teams and executing to the standardized model on each deal. Key to these responsibilities will be understanding of the framework, process, and tools/templates, and the value delivery to the Business.

This role is responsible for providing A&D leadership and guidance to the integration team. The A&D DRI is responsible for establishing the overall strategy and successfully executing, tracking and reporting progress on value delivery, risk, and cost identified for each project. This role will also partner with the A&D Core Team and other Regional DRI’s to identify opportunities for improvements and best practices to enhance the A&D program.

An ideal candidate for this role will have expertise in project management with FPX principles, stakeholder management, collaboration, and strategy development.

Key relationships include establishing key partnerships across E&PS teams as well as the interdependent partnering with project PMO, IT, EH&S, Procurement, HR, and Legal. This position will also represent E&PS at the integration and/or separation PMO meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead E&PS Project team and execute consistent A&D program – serve as the regional Project SME
  • Serve as a single point of contact for A&D projects within the region. Develop and foster key partnerships with interdependent functional leads
  • Support project due diligence and/or transition planning activities
  • Lead project integration and/or separation activities including strategy development, planning and execution of projects with associated resource/funding planning
  • Maintain the A&D database and report on the A&D activities to Business as needed. This may include weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of scorecards and dashboards
  • Conduct Lessons learned and identify best practices for program enhancement
  • Connect with regional DRIs to ensure consistent program execution and sharing of best practices
  • Participate on A&D initiatives to advance the E&PS capabilities for A&D Execution

Required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in the related fields such as operations, CRE, facilities management, project management, business, or other relatable fields
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience
  • Experience building strategic relationships with internal and external project partners and stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environment and competing priorities
  • Ability to manage budgets, understand financials and drive savings where appropriate
  • The ability to effectively partner and deliver results in a matrixed environment
  • The ability to adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations
  • Strong program management skills, proven organization, coordination and action tracking skills
  • Ability to function effectively and multitask when presented with tight deadlines
  • Experience managing complex workstreams, specifically across geographically dispersed teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Familiarity with the end-to-end E&PS processes
  • Experience in facility or real estate management
  • Six sigma certification
  • Project Management methodology – i.e FPX training
  • Global experience
  • Presentation skills
  • Superior customer service skills across a variety of company levels

Other: This position may require up to 25% domestic and international travel
