We have a tremendous opportunity for an experienced transportation professional to join our team as our Manager Driver Services. This position is based in our corporate offices in Tampa, FL. Relocation is available for the right candidate.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the recruiting team and process to ensure capacity goals are maintained for chemical and energy business segments while providing guidance for complex recruiting situations
- Work directly with recruiters to develop proper recruiting strategies for each market and ensure that all parties involved in recruiting are supporting the process and candidates.
- Provide weekly analysis of recruiting trends and statistics
- Oversee advertising sources and spearhead new ad initiatives and campaigns
- Mentor, train, coach, and develop new and current Driver Recruiters.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 Year College Degree with 2 years managing in a similar role; or HS Diploma with 4 years managing in a similar role.
- Knowledge of the transportation industry and DOT regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and internet sources
- Proficient knowledge in applicant tracking system preferred (Tenth Street)
- Exceptional written, oral, communication skills
- Effectively work with management team
- Effective influencing skills
