JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Location Marketing Manager (CMM) will be a key contributor in supporting sustained growth across all PODS’ 70+ corporate owned locations. The position will focus on market level demand and order generation for both local and long distance moving & storage business units.
Working closely with Operations and Demand Generation leadership, the CMM will align resource, capacity, and demand profiles to develop location-based marketing and customer activation plans. Additionally, the CMM will prioritize the market level business needs across core customer activation channels including email, web, and phone.
This role requires a proven background in both analytical and marketing processes. The successful candidate will bring a positive, team-based attitude and a high level of self-motivation. This position is located at our headquarters in Clearwater, Florida and reports to the VP of product marketing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement marketing programs and processes that ensure sustainable demand generation for all corporate locations
- Work closely with the Brand and Media teams to fill the sales funnel with desirable leads using appropriate strategies, tactics, and messaging in traditional and electronic media channels. Ensure results are measurable and measured.
- React to market conditions and build marketing recommendations that fully exploit market differences and opportunities
- Become a subject matter expert on market level competitive insights
- Consolidate marketing activities across all marketing functions on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis; showcase results and report on marketing plans to operations and field stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills; perform frequent ad-hoc analysis to measure performance and gauge results
- Analyze the business at the market level from a demand generation and conversion perspective; work cross functionally to support market level growth
- Own various customer-facing elements of the PODS sales funnel; Perform analysis of large data sets to determine ROI, Cost-per-lead, or other metrics as appropriate. Analyze geographic data and make recommendations or decisions to modify programs
- Align with Revenue Management, Sales, and Web teams to develop and execute promotions to support market level needs; work with channel leaders to push awareness across key touchpoints
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or engineering required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred;
- At least 4 years prior marketing and product development or product management experience required; Service product and insurance product experience a plus.
- Ability to use statistical tools and analyze/interpret data; understand data and turn it into a compelling story
- Experience in survey tools such as Medallia or Survey Monkey
- Ability to research and analyze micro & macro trends through publications such as US Census and IBIS (or similar) data sources
- Business planning skills including demand modeling, unit and fixed revenue and cost estimating, and price sensitivity analysis.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office products required. Must possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties; semi-advanced excel (pvt tables, vlookups) required
