Strategic Property Partners, LLC (‘SPP’) is the partnership between Cascade Investment LLC, and Jeff Vinik. SPP is a full-service commercial real estate development firm focused on world-class execution, innovation, and creating high quality and experiential places. SPP’s first project, Water Street Tampa, is being developed on over 50 acres of land the company controls in downtown Tampa along the waterfront. The phased Water Street Tampa development project is revitalizing the currently underutilized tract of land to create an urban, mixed-use waterfront district consisting of approximately 9 million square feet of new commercial, residential, hospitality, cultural, entertainment, education, and retail uses, totaling over $3 billion in private investment from SPP. Integrating principles of walkability, sustainability, connectivity, design quality, and wellness, SPP will create, own and operate this new world-class neighborhood in Tampa, while also elevating the city’s national prominence.

POSITION SUMMARY

You are the marketing leader for Water Street Tampa’s world-class projects. You bring a passion for customer-focused marketing and an entrepreneurial spirit to a team of strategic marketers. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, you play a critical role in introducing Water Street Tampa’s offerings to the market and ensuring their continued success in a competitive landscape

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for projects from construction phase through opening and stabilization
  • Manage the brand development process for each building and providing creative direction to agencies tasked with developing each individual building’s unique brand
  • Craft and execute launch plans and marketing materials that introduce each new property to market, deliver needed lead volume and contribute to customer acquisition and retention goals
  • Partner with SPP’s key stakeholders to launch cohesive marketing initiatives that position the entire Water Street Tampa district as a destination for people seeking meaningful and enriched experiences
  • Support marketing efforts and creation of marketing materials for hotels in collaboration with hotel ownership and management
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners, including creating disciplined job briefs and ensuring project completion on time and on budget
  • Be the expert on our target customer, including leading market segmentation, positioning and targeting efforts
  • Effectively manage marketing project budgets and timelines for various developments

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience
  • Proven success in managing multiple projects on schedule and within budget
  • Proven success in crafting and implementing innovative marketing plans, ideas and campaigns
  • Expertise in managing marketing planning and activation from start to finish across variety of mediums, including digital content creation, social media, print, and video
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet critical deadlines while maintaining keen attention to detail
  • Ability to build and nurture collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Previous experience in real estate, travel, hospitality and/or luxury goods industries
  • Interest in the field of real estate development
