The Manager, Media Strategy serves as a strategic partner to our brand marketing teams by leading the creation, facilitation, and execution of media plans to drive brand awareness and restaurant traffic across the Bloomin’ Brands portfolio. This role contributes to the development of the Bloomin’ Brands integrated media strategy by partnering with cross functional partners to ensure that paid media campaigns are implemented and delivered in accordance with Bloomin’ Brands’ standards.

A successful candidate for the Manager, Media Strategy role will have a proven track record of planning, delivering, and reporting on a range of multi-channel media campaigns. The candidate will be a digital-first, data led marketer with a natural curiosity around all things media.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


  • Provide strategic direction to media agency by distilling brand objectives into media strategies
  • Collaborate with media agency to develop quarterly media plans, determine appropriate media mix and role of channel, and present recommendations to the brand marketing leads
  • Ensure brand partners are aligned to media plans
  • Partner with Media Agency, Digital Analytics. Modeling, and Consumer Insights teams to synthesize industry trends, performance data, and other resources to inform strategies, audience development, test & learn opportunities, optimizations and measurement frameworks
  • Work across brand and agency teams, fostering communication and cross channel strategy, fluidity and transparency
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and initiative leaders across the organization
  • Act as a liaison between media auditor, media agency, and Bloomin’ Brands, and incorporate audit findings into future recommendations and buy stewardship
  • Manage monthly media budget by ensuring media plans are aligned to brand budgets


REQUIREMENTS

  • Cross channel media experience, with an emphasis on Paid Social, Video (Linear/FEP/CTV), Programmatic, and Paid Search
  • Skilled at delivering integrated media campaign strategies, drawing conclusions, and reporting results to partners
  • Demonstrated ability to approach tasks with a problem solving lens
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
  • Highly skilled at building relationships across internal and external teams
  • Detail oriented, strong business acumen, financial analysis skills, and strategic skills
  • Experience managing media budgets in excess of $1MM
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • 5-7 years experience in media planning and buying (agency or client side) required
  • Experience with restaurant/hospitality or retail verticals preferred

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field, required
  • Master’s degree, preferred
