- Rules, regulations, procedures and functions of the Authority

- Knowledge of principles, practices and methods of accounting
- Knowledge of data processing applications related to accounting, Excel and Word processing
- Valid driver’s license
- Verbal and written communication skills

Job Description:
Manages, supervises and coordinates staff’s activities at Company’s transit centers, count room and ticket vending machine (TVM) locations. Assures adherence to and adheres to strict money-handling best practices, assures the accuracy of cash drawers and sound reconciliation practices, and identifies opportunities to increase sales of fare media.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages, coordinates, trains, supervises, evaluates and provides guidance to Retail Sales Representatives
- Ensures fare policies are adhered to as directed by the Board of Directors and management policy
- Responds to and resolves customer complaints and problems with the purchase of fare cards from various outlets
- Supervises the distribution, auditing and sales of fare cards from commission and non-commission sales outlets
- Coordinates and maintains agreements between the Authority and vendors
- Identifies new community relationships and maintains these relationships for sale of fare media, dissemination of information to the public, and to ensure effectiveness of the program
- Maintains a database of all outlets and materials displayed
- Prepares sales reports to facilitate sales analyses and record keeping supporting the service development program and guiding improvements to passenger amenities
- Attends meetings with social service agencies to promote Company services
- Delivers presentations to social service agencies and organizations as needed
- Manages, coordinates, trains, supervises, evaluates and provides guidance to count room Finance Assistants
- Ensures deposits are counted, paperwork is completed by staff on a daily basis and ensures deposits are error-free
- Maintains and safeguards safe access to all count rooms
- Manages the servicing and maintenance activities related to ticket vending machines and related support systems
- Ensures and adheres to strict money handling with assurances of the accuracy of cash drawers and sound reconciliation practices
- Maintains all fiscal matters and accounting procedures according to Federal, State, and Local statutes and directives; prepares reports for the government as required
- Establishes and maintains standard operating procedures
- Assists external auditors with annual audit and internal auditors with process reviews. Provides assistance and direction to internal and external auditors as needed
- Participates in specialized studies or preparation of report
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
- Attention to detail, organizational, problem solving, analytical, critical thinking and decision making skills will be used
- Conflict management, leadership, team building and time management skills will be used
Work Environment: Office. Must be able to sit for extended time periods using a computer.
Days & Hours: Full time position; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. Complete schedule will be discussed with the applicant.
