This position can be located in either Orlando or Tampa. The Market Research Analyst’s role is to analyze data, underwrite specific land opportunities, and support multiple facets of the company through strategic research. This is a great opportunity to work with a group of talented professionals in the market research field in a challenging and rewarding role.
The Market Research Analyst will:
- Demonstrate a high level of ownership in the data and a thorough understanding of research processes.
- Support division’s land acquisition efforts with detailed market research to understand the opportunities and risks associated with the potential project.
- Provide research to make recommendations for product that will have the highest potential for success and best fit in the market.
- Deliver economic research on residential housing markets.
- Improve community performance by collaborating with the Strategic Operations Team to improve sales and maximize pricing opportunities.
- Have effective communication within a team environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in economics, finance, real estate, urban planning, urban development, or science related.
- Prior research expereince preferred, including a comfort level with large data sets.
- Market research experience in homebuilding or real estate industries is a plus.
- Able to paint a story and prepare presentations using the data to influence decisions.
- Able to work with data in a variety of platforms and from a multitude of sources. Comfortable delving into the details of the data.
- Has strong implementation skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and able to prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable learning new systems and analysis methodology.
- Must possess a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including writing formulas, linking worksheets, using pivot tables, charting data, and formatting.
- Familiarity with SQL, SPSS, Enterprise One, and/or Sales Force is a plus.
