Franklin Street is currently seeking a Marketing & Events Manager to join our Team in Tampa, FL.
Essential Functions:
- Update and maintain the Company’s website and other digital properties through written and visual content that tells a compelling, cohesive story about our company, properties and brand
- Manage, oversee and support Company’s outside PR agency by helping to identify, schedule and monitor and track our image and reputation
- Build and support the company’s social media networks, particularly Yammer
- Draft, update, and proof marketing materials including property brochures and presentations to the community
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for specific properties as well as the company as a whole
- Assist in developing, designing, distributing and monitoring the results of email marketing and communications campaigns as well as other advertising tactics
- Manage electronic and print advertising campaigns with industry trade sources
- Coordinating and improve the execution of trade show events
. Requirements:

- Extensive understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Budget-management skills and proficiency
- Professional judgement and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field
- Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and service orientation, and ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter that works well under pressure and responds proactively to change.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills are required.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
- Must be neat, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to take direction but work independently with little supervision.
- Professional business demeanor and ability to handle confidential and time sensitive information appropriately.
- Must be dependable and present a professional appearance.
Education and Technical Requirements
- Minimum of five years commercial real estate marketing and/or public relations/marketing experience
- High level of proficiency in computer skills including MS Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Publisher, Adobe Photo Shop) is required.
- Ability to touch-type accurately at 50 wpm or higher required.
- B.S./B.A. degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
- Related Certification & Qualifications – The Association of Strategic Marketing, The American Marketing Association, The Marketing Management Association
- Excellent oral and written skills
