POSITION: Marketing Associate (Contract Position with an earliest end date of 12/31/20) DEPT / LOCATION: Westfield Citrus Park REPORTS TO: Marketing Director, Dawn Arvidson Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is the premier global developer and operator of flagship destinations. As Marketing Associate, your primary objective is to support the marketing function for Westfield Citrus Park as well as aid in supporting the broader Westfield Tampa Market and Westfield Sarasota Centers as needed. You will work with the Senior Regional Marketing Director and Marketing Director to execute short- and long-term plans that drive sales, traffic and NOI growth. You will support the marketing function in terms of implementing marketing strategies, interpretations and execution of center-specific and national brand programs, campaign execution, and measurement, ensuring that business needs and KPIs are met, while overseeing the day to day marketing programs for the centers. This individual will: Work/partner with Senior Regional Marketing Director, Marketing Director, National Marketing, Asset and Shopping Center Management teams to achieve marketing objectives and KPIs for the centers and the collective market Work with the Marketing Director in the production and execution of marketing programs, branded elements and communication, in partnership with the Senior Regional Marketing Director Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: STRATEGIC & FINANCIAL Assist Senior Regional Marketing Director and Marketing Director, in the development and execution of annual Marketing Action Plans, 5 Year Business Plans, and marketing budgets to ensure all key items are represented in-line with the center strategies Process invoices for accuracy to manage the marketing budgets Follow marketing budget guidelines and process, including forecasting expenses OPERATIONAL Works with the Marketing Director, Senior Regional Marketing Director, corporate marketing team to create strategic national marketing programs that align with national marketing objectives. Review post analysis and results for all major campaigns ensuring measurability and quality, sharing results with key stakeholders nationally, and within the asset and center teams Work with management, operations, facilities and leasing teams to communicate the needs of the centers, and execute on best practices across all touch points of the customer journey Have a basic understanding of sales performance and traffic results for the center a comparison to key benchmarks in the business / industry and the implication to on-going strategy Develop strong retailer relations by establishing and maintaining a thorough understanding of the retailer business Solicit and encourage retailer participation / support and integration to marketing programs as an effort to promote their business and add value to the overall center marketing plan CONSUMER MARKETING & COMMUNICATION Execute the local implementation of marketing programs based on best practices that deliver on the Westfield brand standard as directed by Marketing Director and Senior Regional Marketing Director Work in partnership with the Marketing Director and Digital Marketing team to curate and publish content to Westfield owned digital and social media channels, including monitoring and reporting on content results Execute communication plan including digital and social channels to support local execution of national programs, local programs and center positioning in the market Partner with retailers to support openings, drive sales and promote offers and events Ensure all communication meets Westfield brand guidelines, standards and tone Support media relations including local public relations for marketing campaigns, national programs, new store openings and crisis management as directed by Marketing Director and Senior Regional Marketing Director Develop and manage community relations, outreach, partnerships and sponsorships for the centers ADMINISTRATIVE Organize and keep up-to-date, all center marketing files, artwork, photography, renderings, recaps, and other creative assets as well as budgets and timelines Maintain courteous and professional relationships with co-workers and vendors; professionally interface with all internal departments Maintain a high-level of confidentiality and professionalism Print, scan and file KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS College degree required Minimum of 3 to 5 years marketing and/or related experience Strong organizational ability and can effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Excellent people skills along with problem solving and time management ability Retail or Shopping Center industry knowledge, experience or expertise preferred Familiar with digital and social media platforms and curating content Experience in public relations, media relations and crisis management preferred Strong communication skills, clear, concise and professional representation is expected Knowledge of real estate and/or retail development, leasing and operations Must be flexible and able to work event shifts which may include nights, weekends and holidays Ability to travel as needed REPORTING STRUCTURE Direct report to the Marketing Director COMPENSATION Hourly ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
