The Marketing Coordinator – Arts Education is responsible for the creation/production of branded marketing materials and communications, including web editing and email marketing. This position assists the Marketing Manager with the execution of all marketing campaigns.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Interacts with all Patel Conservatory departments to ensure that show, event, workshop and class collateral and communications reflect the brand of the Patel Conservatory and the Straz Center.
  • Assists with the execution of a wide variety of marketing campaigns, including online, print, direct mail, email marketing, and events.
  • Designs, develops and distributes marketing materials, including, but not limited to flyers, web ads and social media assets.
  • Writes compelling copy for ads, backstage e-newsletter and targeted email blasts.
  • Coordinates with digital marketing team to execute web edits, class changes and email marketing.
  • Attends marketing events on-campus and in the community
  • Acts as a liaison with various departments within the Straz Center on behalf of the Conservatory, including Ticket Sales Office, Development, and the Creative team.
  • Tracks success of marketing campaigns through reports, enrollment numbers and survey feedback from parents and students.
  • Manages and maintains photography archive and schedules photography for various dress rehearsals, performances and events in order to provide current photo selection for the Conservatory/Education promotions.
  • Researches, orders and inventories all promotional items, including t-shirts for each major Conservatory production.
  • Provides a range of administrative support related to the daily operations of the Marketing Department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work productively in teams and to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff.
  • Creative self-starter who is able to successfully manage multiple projects and respect multiple deadlines while changing priorities on a tight schedule.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends, as required.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign a plus

Education and Work Experience: 

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising, communications or arts.
  • Two – three years of experience in a related field.
