Duties

  • Ensure that on a daily basis that no lead goes unanswered.
  • Follow up with each team member on due dates to ensure tasks are being moved to next phase.
  • Retain more knowledge than anyone else about where various leads + opportunities stand.
  • Keep every team tracker and sales pipeline up to date in advance of each weekly meeting.
  • Assertively interject in meetings when it is not clear what the task is and who is assigned.
  • Take detailed notes in team meetings that “synthesizes” information (not stream of consciousness)
  • Be the most organized person on the team that ensures everything gets done.
  • Preparation and prioritization of all team communication and correspondence
  • Liaising with other internal agency teams when appropriate or as directed by the management
  • Immediately report blockers that may impact the organization to the sales manager
  • Help proofread and complete strategic slide decks for pitching new business
  • Translate proposals into ready-to-sign contracts and scopes of work
  • Meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole

Requirements (unless you convince us otherwise)

  • 2+ years work experience at PR or marketing agency (or else in-house work experience at a media or software company)
  • Solid written skills, especially in answering inbound inquiries at high speed
  • Strong note-taking skills, especially in translating notes into clear deliverables
  • Excellent organizational skills, including management of complex projects
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheet software such as Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar tools
  • Technologically inclined, including learning new tools quickly and training others
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated to meet deadlines in a remote work capacity
  • A natural inclination to stay connected on email, SMS, phone, and social media
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Bonus Points

  • Skill with presentation software like Apple Keynote and Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Experience working with sales and biz dev teams on a global basis
  • Experience working closely with PR and marketing teams
