Tampa company is looking for a Marketing Copywriter and Editorial Assistant to assist with the production of high-quality materials in an editorial capacity. Three-month contract.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides support on editing and proofreading materials for readability, grammar, accuracy, style and industry compliance standards.
  • Provides correction to errors in type, format, grammar, punctuation and spelling (notes corrections electronically and on paper using standard proofreader’s marks).
  • Maintains and applies knowledge of health care regulatory marketing guidelines to keep content consistent and compliant.
  • Documents and provides proofs with marked corrections to be revised and reviewed.
  • Follows department style guide and approved reference guides such as AP Stylebook and corporate branding guidelines to ensure consistency in copy and design.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field Required
  • A High School or GED Required

Experience Level Experience Details Required/Preferred:

  • 1+ year of experience in editing, proofreading, or similar job function Required
