Terrific Marketing Director position with a highly regarded national nonprofit. The Marketing Director will be responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and ongoing management of multi-channel marketing campaigns leveraged to increase member engagement and retention. The position will focus on creating campaigns to acquire, retain, and engage the organization’s member base by collaborating cross-functionally, with teams including Programs, Digital Marketing, and Analytics. The Director will need to be analytical and feel comfortable utilizing data to gain insights on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. The position will manage and mentor a team of 2 direct and 7 indirect reports. Candidates must have 7+ years of relevant experience. Time in a role focused on membership or loyalty marketing is strongly preferred for this role. The position currently operates on a hybrid model and the location is flexible. Salary + Bonus Potential + Excellent Benefits, including:

Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement, and measure omnichannel marketing plans that acquire, reactivate, engage, and retain members
  • Design and execute highly targeted web, mobile and social marketing campaigns to drive acquisition, value, retention, and engagement
  • Collaborate with various partners to track and analyze data related to membership marketing
  • Oversee and collaborate with the communications team on initiatives that are targeted towards members, including content, email marketing, social media, and other digital media
  • Develop and manage the annual budget


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, communications, or marketing; equivalent experience and certifications in lieu of a degree may be considered
  • 7+ years of related experience; membership or loyalty-based marketing preferred
  • Ability to think strategically and support your team in a hands-on manner
  • Experience with omnichannel marketing, member acquisition, retention, and re-activation
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate across departments
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Driver’s license required
