Full Job Description

This individual will work independently and report directly to Keith Ligori. The in-house Marketing Director will have the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of traditional marketing activities while remaining in compliance with the Florida Bar Ethics Rules. The goal of this position is to increase case referrals and law firm awareness as well as improve the overall client experience. The candidate will assist Keith Ligori running at least a $1.5 million annual advertising budget from outdoor media, TV, radio and digital advertising campaigns with the association of outside vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT:

  • Manage all aspects of social media. This includes posting content, engaging with users, and managing L & L’s brand, all while being mindful of the ethical rules associated with the practice of law. Best Practices & Standards must be established. This includes:
  • Content Creation.
  • Editorial Calendar.
  • Social Media Channel Selection.
  • Track Analytics & Metrics of Campaign Performance.


WEBSITE MODIFICATIONS:

  • Adjust the digital face of L & L on a moment’s notice via the firm’s website- removing lawyers, updating special events, new locations, changing biography photographs as well as biographical content, and more.

CONTENT MARKETING-Including Digital:

  • Develop and implement a strategy that includes online press releases, blog posts, whitepapers, digital renderings of speaker presentations, and more.
  • Create an online TOOLBOX with ALL Ligori & Ligori brand assets (Digital ads, TV commercials, Logos, Stationary, OOH, Social Media images, etc.) and maintain for future opportunities.


EVENT PLANNING AND/OR EVENT MANAGEMENT:

  • Develop event ideas, research events, evaluate which sponsorships are of value, and manage all aspects of the event.


COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE MONITORING AND ANALYSIS:

  • Monitor and evaluate market competitors in real-time via all marketing channels including online presence, TV, radio, print, OOH, etc.


COMMUNICATIONS AND PR:

  • When necessary serve as the primary point of contact for all media and press inquiries.
  • Write press releases and distribute as needed.
  • Maintain the MOH system and L&L LED signage as needed.


ANNUAL STRATEGIC MARKETING PLAN:

  • Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns that deliver new leads and new cases on marketing channels including paid search, television, direct mail, radio, OOH, etc.
  • May be done in conjunction with existing agencies:
  • Liaison for L&L with Wenstrom Communications & Find Local (SEO).
  • Invoice scrutiny.
  • Proof of performance of media.
  • Calculate efficiency.
  • Traffic all commercials/copy and display ads.
  • Approving and processing internal payment process.
  • Create and maintain marketing flowcharts.
  • Maintain existing marketing vendor relationships and analyze marketing spending when necessary.


REFERRAL ATTORNEY MANAGEMENT:

  • Track and manage all referral sources.
  • Develop and execute a program designed to provide regular status updates to other attorney customers.


E-MAIL NEWSLETTERS AND E-MARKETING:

  • Maintain and segment both existing internal and external client database(s).
  • Communicate with each segment appropriately and as necessary.
  • Develop cohesive email templates using best practices for both L&L and the ESP.
  • Cultivate co-branded campaigns that provide a unique message that maximizes visibility and increases brand association.
  • Create and track KPIs for each email campaign.
  • Maintain PI daily mailer


METRICS & ANALYTICS:

  • Provide detailed metrics on all active marketing channels (where available).
  • Using the data from each element determine when L&L received lift- determining future investment opportunities and efficiencies. Continuous monitoring of all channels for accuracy- efficiency- opportunity.
  • Monitor core positioning and intact on all fronts- know L&L’s position of differentiation and defend it.
